By using Mothoq you agree to the following terms. Read them carefully before creating an account or transaction.
1. Nature of the service
Mothoq is an electronic escrow platform acting as a third party. We hold funds and release them per transaction terms or dispute resolution. We do not sell products or guarantee item quality. Our role is protecting funds until conditions are met.
2. Registration and verification
- Your information must be accurate and up to date
- Identity verification is mandatory — no escrow without approval
- One account per person; impersonation is prohibited
- Admin may reject or suspend accounts that violate policies
3. Transactions
- The buyer pays the platform and funds are held
- The seller delivers as agreed and submits proof when requested
- The buyer confirms receipt within the deadline or opens a dispute
- After confirmation funds release to the seller automatically
4. Disputes
On conflict, funds are frozen. Both parties submit evidence. Admin decision is final within the platform. Fake evidence is prohibited and leads to suspension.
5. Wallet and fees
Each user has a wallet with available and held balances. Movements are logged in a ledger. Service fees may apply in the future with prior notice. Top-ups and payments use approved payment methods.
6. Prohibited use
- Escrow for illegal goods or services
- Money laundering, fraud, or tax evasion
- System manipulation or hacking attempts
- Bypassing escrow with off-platform payment
7. Liability
The platform is a financial intermediary holding funds until transaction terms are met. We are not liable for product or service quality outside fund custody. Use is subject to applicable laws in the Kingdom.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced. Continued use means acceptance of the updated version.
